Basketball Recap: Washington Gets the Win

Washington posted their closest victory since February 23, 2024 on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Jefferson Cavaliers 65-62. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 72-64 back in December of 2024.

Washington's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points per game. As for Jefferson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6-1.
