Patrick Henry waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the San Diego Cavers by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Patriots, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-11, 21-25, 25-20.

Caleb Weinert paced Patrick Henry's offense, picking up 25 kills. Weinert got some help from Sylas Doan and his 53 assists. Doan was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

Patrick Henry's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for San Diego, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.

Patrick Henry didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Olympian on the 27th. As for San Diego, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Morse at 6:00 p.m. on April 9.
