Flag Football Recap: Thousand Oaks Takes a Loss

If Thousand Oaks was feeling good fresh off their 52-0 takedown of Calabasas last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lancers were dealt a 28-0 defeat at the hands of the Westlake Warriors on Tuesday. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Lancers were not able to get on the board.

Thousand Oaks' loss dropped their record down to 8-8-1. As for Westlake, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thousand Oaks will take on Agoura at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Chargers' defense has only allowed 11 points per game this season, so the Lancers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Westlake, they will challenge Newbury Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
