Softball Recap: Eastbrook Comes Up Short

Eastbrook and Alexandria-Monroe squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Eastbrook had to settle for second. They fell 5-1 to the Tigers. The Panthers have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Alyvia Pumroy was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

Eastbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Alexandria-Monroe, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-1.

As of now, neither Eastbrook nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
