Legacy is a perfect 4-0 against Canyon Springs since February of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Legacy Longhorns will be playing in front of their home fans against the Canyon Springs Pioneers at 4:30 p.m. Legacy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 33.2 points per game this season.

Legacy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nevada's top teams: Basic, who was ranked 15th at the time (Legacy was ranked 18th). Legacy took a 25-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of Basic.

Although Legacy took the loss, they still got scores from Larissa Lotta, Fatima Carter, and Leyla Castillo.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Canyon Springs). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Desert Pines 54-0. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Pioneers considering their 12-point performance the match before.

Legacy's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 34.0 points over those games. As for Canyon Springs, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Legacy beat Canyon Springs 26-18 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Does Legacy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Canyon Springs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
