Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Byron). Everything went their way against the Dover-Eyota Eagles on Thursday as they made off with a 13-3 win. The victory was nothing new for the Bears as they're now sitting on three straight.

Calleigh Barrone made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits any time she's pitched this season. She was even better at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs. Those two hits gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Tallie Behrens was a standout: she got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2025. Sydney Portner was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

Byron kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in three consecutive matchups.
