The regular season was a success, but the real challenge begins now, in the postseason. This Friday Westwood takes on St. Albert in the first playoff game of the year. Westwood is currently on a four-game winning streak and looking to extend its dominance.
Westwood strolled past West Monona two weeks ago with points to spare, taking it 21 - 6.
As for St. Albert, it can now show off seven landslide victories after its game two weeks ago. It picked up a decisive 'W' against Riverside two weeks ago, finishing up at 66 - 0. The margin wasn't a surprise since St. Albert is ranked many positions ahead of Riverside in the state.
Their wins bumped Westwood to 7-2 and St. Albert to 8-1. While both teams are coming off of wins, only one will triumph this week. We'll find out soon enough who that will be.
