Baseball Recap: Angleton Takes a Loss

Angleton fell victim to Santa Fe and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Indians, falling 6-0. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

Angleton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braxton Beaty, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Angleton has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-15-1 record this season. As for Santa Fe, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-11-3.

As of now, neither Angleton nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
