Los Angeles Leadership Academy proved they can win big on Monday (they won by three) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Animo De La Hoya Boxers 3-2. The win was nothing new for the Lions as they're now sitting on six straight.

Los Angeles Leadership Academy wouldn't go down easily and took Animo De La Hoya into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-15, 21-25, 11-25, 15-8.

Los Angeles Leadership Academy was led to victory by Daniel Duarte and Eduardo Nunez. Duarte had four digs and two aces, while Nunez had six digs and two assists. Those six digs gave Nunez a new career-high.

Los Angeles Leadership Academy's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5. As for Animo De La Hoya, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Los Angeles Leadership Academy nor Animo De La Hoya have any future games scheduled.
