Softball Recap: Six Straight Road Wins for Delano

On Friday Delano's undefeated season almost came to an end. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Southwest Christian Stars 8-6. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Delano pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 8.5 runs this season. As for Southwest Christian, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-2.

Delano has already played their next game (against Dassel-Cokato), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Southwest Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 7-2 win against Mound-Westonka on the 29th.
