Basketball Recap: Phillipsburg Comes Up Short

Phillipsburg lost against Emmaus back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Phillipsburg Stateliners were beaten by the Emmaus Hornets 53-10. The match marked the Stateliners' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Phillipsburg's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Emmaus, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

When Phillipsburg and Emmaus next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Phillipsburg will try to stop Belvidere's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Similarly, Emmaus will challenge Stroudsburg and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
