Basketball Recap: Johnson Piles Up the Points Against Wardlaw Hartridge

Johnson won the last time they faced Wardlaw Hartridge and things went their way on Saturday too. The Johnson Crusaders blew past the Wardlaw Hartridge Rams, posting a 58-31 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Crusaders.

Despite the defeat, Wardlaw Hartridge saw an underclassman step up: freshman Jace Greene posted 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Al Bell, who had six points.

Johnson pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Johnson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 65-49 victory against Kennedy Memorial on the 23rd. As for Wardlaw Hartridge, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Piscataway Vo-Tech on January 3, 2025.
