Volleyball Recap: D'evelyn Turns Things Around After Road Loss + How To Watch

There's no place like home for D'Evelyn, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against the Thornton Trojans on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Jaguars were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Trojans, so the Jaguars were just returning the favor.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-14, 25-18.

D'Evelyn found their leader in sophomore Chelyn Kwon, who had 13 digs and four assists. Arianna Griffin also deserves some recognition as she had her first kills of the season.

D'Evelyn was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 11 aces in five consecutive matches.

D'Evelyn's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Thornton, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

D'Evelyn has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Village on the 30th. Thornton has also already played their next contest (against Aurora Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
