Recap: Thunderbird Titans vs. Paradise Honors Panthers

If the Thunderbird Titans were riding high off their 56-35 takedown of the Shadow Mountain Matadors last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Thunderbird took a 45-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Paradise Honors. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Thunderbird has scored all season.

Thunderbird's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Ryan Calcaterra, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and two steals, and Aidan Rampley who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.

Paradise Honors found their leader in underclassman Tj Harris, who scored 16 points along with three steals. Harris is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last 17 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of David Leszczynski, who scored ten points.

Thunderbird's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-5. As for Paradise Honors, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Moon Valley the next time they take the court. Thunderbird will host Moon Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Paradise Honors will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
