Aynor proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 11) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Richlands Blue Tornado 7-5. The victory was familiar territory for the Blue Jackets, who have now won four games in a row.

Aynor's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Richlands, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Aynor will take on Buford in a tournament on Wednesday. The Yellow Jackets' pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so the Blue Jackets' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Richlands, they will challenge Loris at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blue Tornado's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 8.3 runs per game this season.
