Softball Recap: Columbian Comes Up Short

Columbian managed to slip by Perkins the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tornadoes lost 13-3 to the Pirates on Monday. The Tornadoes' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Emma Daugherty made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Columbian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Perkins, they moved to 7-11 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Columbian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 18-1 loss against Clyde on the 7th. As for Perkins, they have also already played their next game, an 11-2 victory against Huron on the 6th.
