Baseball Recap: Dumont Comes Up Short

Dumont was the 10-9 winner over Fort Lee when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Huskies fell 6-3 to the Bridgemen on Monday.

James Sutera made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Dumont has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10-1 record this season. As for Fort Lee, their record now sits at 11-4-2.

While Dumont had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
