Volleyball Recap: Frederick A. Douglass Takes a Loss

Frederick A. Douglass was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Woodlawn-B.R. Panthers.

Frederick A. Douglass' loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Woodlawn-B.R., they moved to 6-10 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Frederick A. Douglass will venture away from home to square off against Haynes Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Bobcats their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Woodlawn-B.R., they will head out to take on Port Allen at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
