Softball Recap: Spaulding Comes Up Short

Spaulding's last matchup with U-32 could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Friday. The Crimson Tide came up short against the Raiders, falling 17-5.

Spaulding's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for U-32, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spaulding will host Lake Region at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Crimson Tide's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rangers have averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season. As for U-32, they will be playing at home against Lamoille at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
