It was fun while it lasted, but KIPP Columbus's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Wednesday. They fell 53-46 to the Briggs Bruins. While the Jaguars didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bruins 17-13 in the first quarter.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Briggs to victory, but perhaps none more so than Damian Phoubaykham, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 16 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Troy Johnson, who posted 14 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, KIPP Columbus fell to 3-1. As for Briggs, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

KIPP Columbus has already played their next game, an 84-26 win against Cristo Rey on the 12th. As for Briggs, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 68-46 defeat against West on the 13th.
