Recap: Bay City Blackcats vs. Brazosport Exporters
The Bay City Blackcats's eight-game losing streak came to an end on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 63-60 win over Brazosport. The win was just what Bay City needed coming off of a 62-41 loss in their prior match.
Alex Estrada was on fire: he scored 30 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Adrian Molina, who scored 14 points.
Bay City's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-13. As for Brazosport, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 12 of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season.
Bay City will challenge Stafford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Stafford's favor as the team sits on eight straight wins at home while Bay City has been banged up by 12 consecutive losses on the road. Brazosport will take on La Marque at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in La Marque's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matchups.
