Lakeville North came tearing into Friday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Northfield Raiders. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 2-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Lakeville North was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-13, 25-4.

Lakeville North's victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Northfield, they moved to 8-6 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Lakeville North and Northfield should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings.
