North Mesquite is a perfect 4-0 against Spruce since February of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The North Mesquite Stallions will take on the Spruce Timberwolves at 7:30 p.m. North Mesquite is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.

North Mesquite is headed into the matchup having not lost since January 11 and will look to keep things rolling. They walked away with a 3-1 win over West Mesquite on Friday. That's two games straight that the Stallions have won by exactly two goals.

They hit West Mesquite with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Adan Aguilar, Jason Matchniff, and Gadiel Arreola.

Meanwhile, Spruce has been on a difficult stretch since their win on January 7. They fell just short of Seagoville by a score of 3-2 on Friday.

North Mesquite is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-3-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those eight contests. As for Spruce, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-3.

North Mesquite came out on top in a nail-biter against Spruce in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Mesquite since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
