Basketball Game Preview: Manning Monarchs vs. Williamsburg Academy Stallions

Having just played yesterday, the Manning Monarchs will jump right back in to play the Williamsburg Academy Stallions at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Manning and four for Williamsburg Academy.

Manning saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 51-38 to Dillon. While losing is never fun, the Monarchs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 203rd, while the Wildcats are ranked 43rd).

Meanwhile, Williamsburg Academy ended up a good deal behind Timberland on Thursday and lost 30-15. The match marked the Stallions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Williamsburg Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Manning, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.
