Basketball Recap: Quitman Piles Up the Points Against Gibsland-Coleman

Quitman was handed a heart-breaking two-point defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Gibsland-Coleman on Saturday. The Wolverines blew past the Bulldogs 52-19. For the Wolverines, this counts as revenge for the 66-57 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

Quitman now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Gibsland-Coleman, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Quitman didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 35-22 win against Saline on the 10th. As for Gibsland-Coleman, they will welcome Simsboro at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
