Preview: North Lenoir Hawks vs. Kinston Vikings
North Lenoir has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Kinston Vikings at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Lenoir will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 485th, while Kinston is ranked 91st).
North Lenoir suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 60-38 walloping at the hands of James Kenan. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points North Lenoir has scored all season.
Meanwhile, even though Wallace-Rose Hill scored an imposing 66 points on Tuesday, Kinston still came out on top. Kinston snuck past Wallace-Rose Hill with a 71-66 victory.
North Lenoir bumped their record down to 5-10 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Kinston, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.
