Softball Recap: Olympia Takes a Loss

After soaring to 13 runs the game before, Olympia was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They came up short against the East Ridge Knights, falling 10-1. The Titans haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Sasha Do made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

Olympia's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for East Ridge, their victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Olympia will face off against Lake Brantley at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Titans surely won't give up without a fight. As for East Ridge, they will square off against Winter Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Knights 3.4, the Bears 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
