Basketball Recap: Graham Skates Past Tazewell with Ease

Graham won the last time they faced Tazewell and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Graham G-Men breezed by the Tazewell Bulldogs to the tune of 87-38. With the G-Men ahead 51-27 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Markelle Ray had an outrageously good game as he went 9 for 14 on his way to 24 points along with five assists and three steals. Ty Martin was another key player, going 7 of 8 en route to 18 points and five rebounds.

Graham pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Tazewell, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-4.

Graham didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 69-40 win against Marion on the 15th. As for Tazewell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 78-32 victory against Council on the 15th.
