St. Johns wins going away against St. Michael

The St. Johns Redskins won the last time they faced the St. Michael Cardinals, and things went their way on Monday too. St. Johns was the clear victor by a 69-43 margin over St. Michael.

St. Johns had a senior duo take command as Kayme Smith scored 15 points and Ellie Heap scored 12 points along with 8 rebounds. The matchup was Smith's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaycee Willis, who scored 8 points along with 5 rebounds.

St. Johns now has a winning record of 2-1. As for St. Michael, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

St. Johns will be playing at home against Many Farms at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Michael, they will head out on the road to face off against Tuba City at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
