Softball Recap: Exeter Comes Up Short

Exeter's last matchup with Immanuel could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Tuesday. The Monarchs came up short against the Eagles, falling 11-1. The Monarchs haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Exeter's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Immanuel, they pushed their record up to 14-5-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Exeter will venture away from home to face off against Central Valley Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Monarchs are facing the Cavaliers at the right time seeing as the Cavaliers are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Immanuel, they are taking a road trip to square off against Kingsburg at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
