Basketball Recap: Epping Comes Up Short

Epping was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Newmarket Mules 51-7. The contest marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Epping's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Newmarket, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Epping will welcome Holy Family Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Holy Family Academy will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Epping surely won't give up without a fight. As for Newmarket, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Hinsdale at 5:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Newmarket's favor as the squad sits on seven straight wins at home while Hinsdale has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
