Sweetwater has gone a perfect 3-0 against Mount Miguel recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Red Devils will take on the Matadors at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Sweetwater will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Monday, then bounced right back against Chula Vista on Tuesday. The Red Devils put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 4-1 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Sweetwater's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

They hit Chula Vista with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from David Medina (2), Gilbert Carrillo, and Salis Mustapha.

Meanwhile, Mount Miguel hadn't done well against El Capitan recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Matadors' defense stepped up to hand the Vaqueros a 2-0 shutout.

Sweetwater pushed their record up to 10-5-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those five matchups. As for Mount Miguel, their win bumped their record up to 4-7-2.

Sweetwater was able to grind out a solid victory over Mount Miguel in their previous matchup back in January of 2025, winning 3-1. Will the Red Devils repeat their success, or do the Matadors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
