Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Harbor). Everything went their way against the San Lorenzo Valley Cougars on Tuesday as they made off with a 13-5 victory. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by seven runs or more this season.

Harbor moved to 13-8 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for San Lorenzo Valley, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-16.

Looking ahead, Harbor will welcome Santa Clara at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bruins will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something the Pirates surely won't give up without a fight. As for San Lorenzo Valley, they are taking a road trip to take on Watsonville at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcatz have averaged an impressive 9.1 runs per game this season.
