Basketball Game Preview: Woonsocket Villa Novans vs. Times Squared Academy Eagles

Woonsocket is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Pilgrim on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Woonsocket was dealt a 48-9 loss at the hands of Pilgrim. The Villa Novans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-2.

Jade Diaz was Woonsocket's leading scorer, having posted three points.

Meanwhile, Times Squared Academy had to suffer through a 51-22 loss at the hands of Middletown.

Times Squared Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Woonsocket, they dropped their record down to 1-1 with the loss, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.
