Basketball Game Preview: Clinton Cougars vs. Big Foot Chiefs

The Clinton Cougars will square off against the Big Foot Chiefs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Friday, Clinton was beaten by Monroe 70-42. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Cheesemakers: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Big Foot was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 70-25 loss at the hands of Edgerton. The matchup marked the Chiefs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Big Foot, their loss dropped their record down to 5-14.

Clinton beat Big Foot 61-50 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Will Clinton repeat their success, or does Big Foot have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
