Soccer Game Preview: North Forsyth vs. North Davidson + Official Tickets

The North Forsyth Vikings will face off against the North Davidson Black Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Monday just wasn't the day for North Forsyth's offense. They came up short against Glenn on Monday, falling 5-0. The loss continues a trend for North Forsyth in their meetings with Glenn: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, North Davidson also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 9-0 to Atkins on Monday. While losing is never fun, North Davidson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 418th, while Atkins are ranked 152nd).

North Forsyth's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6-1. As for North Davidson, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14.

North Forsyth beat North Davidson 3-1 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
