Baseball Recap: Greater Lawrence Tech Comes Up Short

Greater Lawrence Tech might've scored the first runs on Friday, but it was Northeast Metro RVT who claimed the real prize. The Reggies took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. The Reggies haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Greater Lawrence Tech saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andy Segura, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double.

Greater Lawrence Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Northeast Metro RVT, their win bumped their record up to 4-10.

Coming up, Greater Lawrence Tech will challenge Notre Dame Cristo Rey at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Reggies are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Northeast Metro RVT, they will face off against Wakefield Memorial at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The last four games the Warriors have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
