Soccer Game Preview: Greenville vs. Ludington

The Greenville Yellow Jackets will head out to take on the Ludington Orioles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Greenville has given up an average of 3.6 goals per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Monday just wasn't the day for Greenville's offense. They lost 7-0 to Lowell on Monday. While losing is never fun, Greenville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 347th, while Lowell are ranked 118th).

Meanwhile, Ludington kept a clean sheet against Big Rapids on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cardinals, sneaking past 1-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for Ludington.

Ludington's win bumped their record up to 12-7-2. As for Greenville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-12-5 record this season.
