Volleyball Recap: Fort Bend Austin Find Success

Fort Bend Austin posted their closest victory since October 22, 2024 on Thursday. They skirted past the Mayde Creek Rams 2-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2022.

Despite the loss, Mayde Creek saw an underclassman step up: freshman Mailys Petnkeu had 11 digs and ten assists. Those 11 digs set a new season-high mark for Petnkeu.
