Volleyball Recap: West Oso Comes Up Short

West Oso was the 3-0 winner over San Diego when they last played one another back in August of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Bears fell just short of the Vaqueros by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alivia Shaw paced West Oso's offense, picking up 13 kills. Shaw got some help from Desiree Torres and her 17 assists. Shaw was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

West Oso now has a losing record of 1-2. As for San Diego, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

West Oso didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Pettus on the 14th. As for San Diego, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against La Villa at 5:00 p.m.
