Soccer Recap: Central Davidson Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Central Davidson's offense. They came up short against the Providence Grove Patriots on Tuesday, falling 9-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Providence Grove this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in August.

Central Davidson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Providence Grove, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1-3.

Looking ahead, Central Davidson will square off against Jordan-Matthews at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Central Davidson will need to watch out since Jordan-Matthews have now posted at least four goals in their last three games. As for Providence Grove, they will challenge Eastern Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
