Baseball Recap: Central Dauphin Rams vs. Mifflin County Huskies
Central Dauphin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mifflin County Huskies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 back in April.
Chase Shrader was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run over 4.2 innings pitched. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Central Dauphin saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brandon Cooper, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.
Central Dauphin now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Mifflin County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.
