1A Carolina Top Player Performances of the Week

Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!

Carell Phillips Delivers Best Effort of Season

On Friday, North Duplin got the W thanks in part to Carell Phillips playing the best football he has all season. Phillips rushed for 252 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.5 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.

North Duplin and Union are set to duel on Friday. The Rebels got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Spartans, probably because Phillips had a solid game then too: he rushed for 59 yards and a touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
