Volleyball Recap: Martinsburg Christian Academy Triumphs

Martinsburg Christian Academy's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Frederick Baptist Academy Patriots. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won six in a row.

While Martinsburg Christian Academy might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Frederick Baptist Academy scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-18, 23-25, 25-22.

Martinsburg Christian Academy now has a winning record of 2-1.

After both having extra time off, Frederick Baptist Academy and Independent Baptist Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Martinsburg Christian Academy will be paying especially close attention to the Patriots' match: after the Patriots face off against the Kings, they'll take on Martinsburg Christian Academy again at 4:00 p.m. on the 12th.
