Basketball Recap: Meadow Heights Comes Up Short

Meadow Heights lost against Saxony Lutheran back in December of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Meadow Heights Panthers took a blow against the Saxony Lutheran Crusaders, falling 58-31. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meadow Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Saxony Lutheran, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4.

Meadow Heights will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Greenville at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Saxony Lutheran will also get a bit of a break before their next match: they'll face off against Scott County Central at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
