Mountain Heritage won the last time they faced Madison and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mountain Heritage Cougars were the clear victor by a 59-36 margin over the Madison Patriots. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 23 points or more this season.

Mountain Heritage got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Layla Worley out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine boards. The dominant performance gave Worley a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Lilly Neill, who posted eight points along with eight rebounds and five assists.

Mountain Heritage pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Madison, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Mountain Heritage Cougars challenge the Draughn Wildcats at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Draughn will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Mountain Heritage surely won't give up without a fight. As for Madison, they will take on Owen at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
