On Tuesday Elijah Phillips pitched two innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. The effort also marked the fewest walks (one) Phillips has had since back in April of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with less than two walks. For the year, he has an ERA of 5.41 over 22 innings pitched.
