            Basketball Recap: Langtree Charter Academy Lions vs. Pine Lake Prep Pride        
        
		
        
        
            Langtree Charter Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight  loss. They had to suffer through a   72-34 loss at the hands of the Pine Lake Prep Pride. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing  77-54 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.
 Dom Ruff was Langtree Charter Academy's leading scorer, having posted six  points.    Jerel Brawley took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.
 Pine Lake Prep was led to victory by  Jamie Lawson and  Joseph Bruce.  Lawson  posted 15 points in addition to eight  assists and eight  boards, while  Bruce  scored 16  points and seven  steals. The dominant performance also gave  Lawson a new career-high in  steals (six). Another player making a difference was  Chris Luceri, who  had 12 points.
Langtree Charter Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Pine Lake Prep, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the  victory, which was their sixth straight  at home.
 Langtree Charter Academy has already played their next match,  an  84-71  win against Mountain Island Charter on the 16th. As for Pine Lake Prep, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  51-48  loss against Corvian Community on the 17th.
