Basketball Game Preview: Bear Creek Bruins vs. Bradshaw Christian The Pride

The Bear Creek Bruins will square off against the Bradshaw Christian The Pride at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Bear Creek's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while Bradshaw Christian has been banged up by ten consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

Last Friday, Bear Creek beat Chavez 49-40.

Bear Creek's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nemo Lucas, who posted 15 points. Elijah Duncan was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Meanwhile, Bradshaw Christian came up short against Rosemont on Friday and fell 66-57. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (56), the The Pride still had to take the loss.

Bradshaw Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Bear Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 12-9.

Things could have been worse for Bear Creek, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 98-81 loss to Bradshaw Christian in their previous matchup back in January of 2017.
