Basketball Recap: Homer Takes a Loss

Homer lost against Bancroft-Rosalie back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Homer Knights took a blow against the Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers, falling 61-15. The game marked the Knights' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Benjamin Roost was Homer's leading scorer, having posted four points. Junius Snowball held things down on the boards with three rebounds.

Homer has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Bancroft-Rosalie, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Homer wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 63-39 loss against Tekamah-Herman on the 4th. As for Bancroft-Rosalie, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 70-66 victory against Omaha Nation on the 4th.
